Our specialised dialysis exercise programme has been created to help people receiving dialysis treatment to use the time to build their muscle conditioning.
With adaptable movements that can be completed while dialysising in a chair or bed, the exercises can be carried out without disturbing the patient’s dialysis site.
The programme contains 7 sessions of gentle exercise focusing on the upper body, lower body and core strength, and one education class, all created by experts in kidney health.

Helping dialysis patients maintain strength and physical function
Patients who need to undergo dialysis treatment can be susceptible to muscle loss, fatigue and other challenges that affect their wellbeing.
Our dialysis exercise programme is backed by Kidney Research UK, and hosted on our clinically-proven digital health platform.
It has been created to support people who require dialysis to maintain physical function, energy levels and increase their mood, all of which can help mitigate symptoms associated with kidney disease and improve quality of life.
